Serge Ekue

Serge EKUE is an experienced leader in finance and development, currently serving as Co-président of the International Development Finance Club since November 2023 and President of the West African Development Bank since May 2020. Formerly at Natixis Bank, Serge EKUE held prominent roles including Senior Country Manager for the UK and Head of Global Markets for EMEA and Africa from October 2016 to May 2020. Prior to that, Serge EKUE was the Head of Global Markets in Asia-Pacific and the Head of Emerging Markets at Natixis from January 2007 to September 2016. Additional experience includes being the Chief Executive Officer of Natixis APAC for a brief period in 2016 and Co-Head of Capital Markets at Natexis Banque Populaire from 2005 to 2007. Serge EKUE holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, a DESS in Banking and Finance from Université Paris Cité, and an ECO FI degree from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
