Fletcher Cox is a highly experienced trumpet player and educator with a diverse career spanning over a decade. Currently self-employed as a freelance trumpet player and private tutor since 2012, Fletcher also serves as a casual musician with several prominent orchestras, including Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Fletcher holds various contract positions, such as Associate Principal Trumpet with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and has recently been engaged as a guest musician with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Educational credentials include a Professional Performance Program from the Australian National Academy of Music and a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from The University of Western Australia. As of February 2024, Fletcher will also take on the role of trumpet teacher at The University of Western Australia.
