Mandela Gain

Mandela Gain is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Assistant Engineer and Station Manager at West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited since November 2015. In this role, Mandela leads a team responsible for managing electric supply to 75,000 consumers, overseeing a yearly revenue of 32 Crore, and implementing preventive measures for infrastructure failures. Previous roles include Assistant Engineer in the Project Division, where responsibilities encompassed engineering design, project management, and the construction of new substations, as well as Assistant Engineer in the Security & Loss Prevention Unit, focusing on distribution loss prevention. Prior to this, Mandela held the position of Electrical Engineer at M. N. Dastur & Co. (P) Ltd., contributing to engineering supervision and project management for major industrial projects. Mandela earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College in 2012.
