Marissa Klees

Marissa Klees has a diverse work experience. Marissa currently holds the position of Director of Events and Communications at the West Chester University Foundation since July 2023. Previously, they worked at Best Buddies International, where they held various roles including Director of Programs & Operations from January 2022 to July 2023, Deputy Director of Programs & Operations from January 2020 to January 2022, Program Manager, Community Engagement from August 2018 to January 2020, and Program Manager, School of Friendship from August 2017 to August 2018. Marissa also has experience working at the Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center as an After School Counselor from December 2015 to December 2017 and as a Unit Leader/Camp Counselor from May 2015 to August 2017. Marissa also worked as a Peer Mentor Coordinator at California University of Pennsylvania from January 2016 to May 2017.

Marissa Klees obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations from PennWest California in the years 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Bishop Shanahan High School from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Marissa holds certifications in Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross, and a Spanish Business Certificate from the California University of Pennsylvania.
