Kristen Crans

Kristen Crans currently serves as the Assistant Director of Instructional Design & Technology for the College of Education and Social Work at West Chester University of Pennsylvania since January 2023, while also undertaking the role of Transfer Articulation Specialist. In the summer of 2024, Kristen is set to work as a Faculty Teaching Assistant for the Prison Education Program at Eastern University, assisting with a Research Methods course. Previous experience includes serving as a Library Media Specialist for Garnet Valley School District from August 2015 to November 2022 and holding various positions in library services and education, including roles as a Library Assistant at Chester County Library Business & Career Center and a teacher in several school districts. Kristen holds a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from West Chester University, is pursuing this degree from August 2024 to September 2027, and possesses a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Education from Messiah University.
