Jesse Efron

Jesse Efron has a strong background in the medical informatics industry, with experience in various roles and organizations. Jesse began their career at the College of American Pathologists (CAP) in 2008, where they served as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. During this time, they played a crucial role in leading the organization's migration to the IHTSDO Workbench.

In 2012, Efron joined Apelon as a Project Lead, where they demonstrated their skills in leadership and project management. Jesse successfully led projects for three years before transitioning to their next role.

In 2015, Efron joined SNOMED International as a Member of the Software Development Advisory Group. In this role, they provided governance and documentation for the Open Tooling Framework open source community, ensuring software developers had the latest information on the organization's software development practices and tools.

Also in 2015, Efron became the Owner and Chief Operating Officer of West Coast Informatics (WCI). In this position, they took on various responsibilities, such as advocating for the adoption of terminology standards in the healthcare industry and providing educational materials to customers. Jesse also ensured the validity of solutions provided by WCI to their customers.
