Sharifu K. Tusuubira

Sharifu K. Tusuubira, Ph.D is an experienced professional with a background in genetics and a strong focus on sickle cell advocacy. Currently working at the Parenteral Drug Association, Sharifu is dedicated to establishing the PDA Global Pharmaceutical Student Network. In addition to their current role, Sharifu serves as a Board Member at the Uriel Owens Sickle Cell Disease Association of the Midwest, working to raise awareness and support research for sickle cell disease. With a Ph.D in Genetics, Sharifu's extensive experience includes leadership roles at various organizations focused on sickle cell advocacy, policy development, and youth empowerment. Sharifu K.'s work has made a significant impact in promoting sickle cell awareness and support across Africa and beyond.
