Christian Manzana

Christian Manzana is an accomplished music educator and freelance trombonist with extensive experience in instrumental instruction and performance. As an Elementary Music Teacher at West Contra Costa Unified School District since August 2021, Christian provides instrumental instruction for grades 4-6 at multiple elementary schools. Additionally, Christian serves as a Low Brass and Jazz Trombone Instructor at Chabot College and has held various teaching positions within the Fremont Unified School District since February 2017. Freelance work as a trombonist has been ongoing since September 2010, covering a broad range of musical styles. Christian’s previous roles include tutoring at the Stanford Jazz Workshop, teaching music at Pnc Music Company, and directing the Jazz Ensemble at San Jose State University. Christian holds a Single Subject Credential from California State University - East Bay, a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies, and a Bachelor of Music Performance in Trombone from San José State University, as well as a similar degree from Chabot College.
