Branden Beatty

Branden Beatty is a seasoned professional in climate programs and environmental policy, currently serving as Senior Manager of Climate Programs at West Fraser since September 2021, focusing on climate strategy, carbon compliance, and biodiversity. With previous experience at KPMG Canada from October 2015 to August 2021, Branden held roles including Manager of Climate Change and Sustainability Services, where expertise in GHG assurance and carbon project management was developed. Earlier career accomplishments include project management for Médecins Sans Frontières, overseeing logistics for medical programs in Myanmar and Kenya, and managing operations for reforestation projects at Spectrum Resource Group Inc. Branden's academic background includes a Master of Science in Carbon, Climate Change Finance from The University of Edinburgh, as well as two Master's degrees and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Victoria in the fields of biology, environmental science, and ethics.
