Mike Pagurut

Mike Pagurut has built a substantial career in the forestry and pulp industries, currently serving as General Manager at West Fraser since September 2012. Previous roles at West Fraser include Manager of Pulp Reliability and Continuous Improvement and Pulp & Energy Controller, where responsibilities included managing corporate purchasing and overseeing Canadian woodlands pay functions. Prior experience includes serving as Canadian Lumber Controller at Cariboo Pulp and Paper Company and various accounting and management positions at Hinton Pulp, Houston Forest Products, and Weldwood of Canada. Mike Pagurut earned a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting and Organizational Behaviour and a minor in Economics from Simon Fraser University between 1986 and 1990.
