Rusty Steel

Rusty Steel is an accomplished General Manager with extensive experience in the lumber and manufacturing industry. Currently overseeing operations at West Fraser's Whitehouse Lumber Mill since August 2021, Rusty previously held various managerial roles at Weyerhaeuser from December 2013 to August 2021, including Production Superintendent and Green Side and Dry Side Superintendent. Prior experience includes serving as Maintenance Reliability Manager at Georgia-Pacific LLC from March 2012 to December 2013. Rusty holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education/Management from Wayland Baptist University, an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and an Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
