Program and Partnerships Manager at West Health Institute

Kaylee Knowles has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kaylee is currently working at West Health as a Program and Partnerships Manager, a position they started in December 2021.

Prior to that, Kaylee worked at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from November 2019 to August 2020. Kaylee started as a Consultant / Research Assistant for the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC), focusing on social care integration in England. This part-time role eventually became a full-time contract position. Kaylee also held a research assistant role during the same period.

From December 2017 to April 2019, Kaylee worked at Wedu Global as a Mentorship Programme Manager. In 2017, Kaylee took a break to travel and enjoy life in Southeast Asia from June to November.

From 2012 to 2017, Kaylee worked at Sea Mar Community Health Centers, starting as a Care Coordinator from June 2012 to December 2014. In this role, they educated patients with chronic diseases on secondary prevention and encouraged self-management through motivational interviewing. Kaylee also coordinated comprehensive care for complex patients. From January 2015 to May 2017, they became a Care Manager, overseeing a team of employees providing care management and supervising client-centered care plans for patients with multiple chronic health conditions and social determinants of health.

Earlier in their career, Kaylee held positions at the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) as an Assistant Field Operations Manager from August 2010 to May 2011 and at the University of Washington Department of Global Health as a Multidisciplinary International Research Training (MIRT) Fellow for two months in 2010. Kaylee also interned for the Comprehensive Health Plan at the Whatcom County Health Department from April 2008 to June 2008.

Kaylee Knowles has a Master of Science - MS degree in International Health Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Kaylee completed this degree from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from Western Washington University. Kaylee pursued their undergraduate education in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Kaylee Knowles has also obtained certifications. Kaylee is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc, which they achieved in October 2020. Kaylee also holds the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification, which they obtained in April 2013.
