Richard Novy

Richard Novy is an experienced consulting biologist and team leader at WEST, Inc. since September 2021, where responsibilities include technical report preparation for solar projects, UAV surveys, and ecological survey management. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at ERM, focusing on threatened wildlife and wetland permitting, and Ecologist & UAV pilot at Eco-Tech Consultants, where wildlife surveys and report writing were key duties. Richard Novy has also held positions as a Wildlife Ecologist at Golder Associates, Bat Ecologist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and an adjunct instructor at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. Richard Novy's educational background includes a Master's in Environmental Science and Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, both from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
