James Skinner

James Skinner, CFI, currently serves as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at West Marine, overseeing the development and implementation of Environmental Health, Safety, and Asset Protection initiatives for East and West Coast DC Operations, while ensuring compliance with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations. Prior to this role, James Skinner was the Sr Regional Manager for Loss Prevention and Safety at PetSmart, where responsibilities spanned two $1B regions and included the management of asset protection, associate safety, and investigations across over 200 locations. James Skinner also led significant initiatives to improve safety culture at distribution centers and provided operational oversight and P&L management for large distribution centers. James Skinner earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
