Leigh Young

Leigh Young has lived in the Bellevue area of Nashville since 1977. She attended Father Ryan High school and Aquinas Nursing School. Leigh began her career as a CNA while in nursing school. She has been a registered nurse for over 27 years and has worked extensively in medical/surgical, cardiac, cardiac postop, long term acute care, ER experience, as well as some time spent with a Home Health Company. Additionally, she has served as a floor nurse, a supervisor, a case manager, and the Director of Case Management for a Long Term Acute Care Hospital. Leigh joined West Meade Place in 2016 as the Director of Nursing and brought with her a vast array of experiences to help manage the facility which cares for residents who require a higher level of care on the Respiratory Unit as well as the long term care residents. Leigh continues to work hard each day to ensure West Meade Place provides excellent quality of care and remains the preferred provider for past residents as well as those who now require skilled nursing services.
