Gynecologic Oncologist, Director For Health Equity And Community Outreach at West Michigan Cancer Center Inc.

David Shalowitz has extensive work experience in the field of gynecologic oncology and implementation sciences. David currently holds positions as the Gynecologic Oncologist and Director for Health Equity and Community Outreach at West Michigan Cancer Center, as well as a Clinical Associate Professor at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Prior to these roles, they served as an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest Baptist Health in gynecologic oncology and implementation sciences from 2017 to 2022. David also has experience as a fellow in gynecologic oncology at Penn Medicine from 2014 to 2017 and as a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Partners HealthCare from 2010 to 2014. In addition, they have a background as a Bioethics Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2003 to 2005.

David Shalowitz holds a Master's Degree in Health Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned their MD degree in Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. David also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Brown University, which they attained from an unspecified time period.
