Jim Bishop

Senior Vice President at West Michigan Community Bank

Jim Bishop has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Jim started their career as a Branch Manager at First Michigan Bank (FMB) in 1983 and worked there for 10 years. Jim then joined Old Kent Bank in 1993 as VP Regional Manager/Commercial Banking and remained with the company until 1998. Afterwards, they joined The Bank of Holland as Senior Vice President from 1998 to 2015. Currently, they are working as Senior Vice President at West Michigan Community Bank, starting in 2015.

Jim Bishop attended Muskegon Community College from 1983 to 1986. Jim then pursued a Bachelors degree at Grand Valley State University from 1986 to 1990. In 2004, Jim enrolled in the U of M Ross School of Business to pursue Advanced Management. Additionally, in 2001, they attended the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, although the degree obtained is not specified.
