Aaron Sagraves has extensive experience in athletics and sports communication, currently serving as the Official Scorer and Game Day Operations personnel for the West Michigan Whitecaps since May 2013. Sagraves held various positions at Cornerstone University from May 2004 to July 2025, including Director of Athletics and Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications. Previously, Sagraves worked at Davenport University as Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications from August 2007 to September 2014 and served as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Golf Club at Thornapple Pointe. Aaron Sagraves earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Cornerstone University in 2004.

The West Michigan Whitecaps are a professional minor league baseball team. A member of the 15-team Midwest League and Class A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Whitecaps play 66 home and 66 road games each season. "Home" is LMCU Ballpark, a privately-owned stadium built in conjunction with the Whitecaps' arrival in 1994, located in Comstock Park, MI (seven miles north of Grand Rapids, MI).
