Angie Barksdale is an experienced professional with a robust background in workforce development and community service. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at West Michigan Works! since October 2015, Angie has previously held the position of Deputy Director at Ottawa County Michigan Works! from February 2009 to September 2015, where responsibilities included planning and coordinating county-wide workforce programs. Angie's experience also encompasses leadership roles such as Director of Development at Greater Ottawa County United Way, focusing on community partnerships and fundraising, and Youth Program Coordinator at Allendale Charter Township, where program development for youth services was key. Additionally, Angie has a strong foundation in grant development and prevention programs from earlier roles at Ottawa Area ISD and Pathways, MI. Angie holds a Master's degree in Family and Consumer Science from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University.
