Carl Beet

Carl Beet is currently the Head of Transport Strategy and Planning at West Midlands Combined Authority, where carl previously held the title of Transport Strategy Manager. With previous roles as Principal Transport Planner at Mott MacDonald and Centro, as well as Project Leader and Technical Officer at Birmingham City Council, Carl has a strong background in transport planning and economic development. carl holds a BA (Hons) in Geography and History from Keele University and an MSc in Transport Planning from Oxford Brookes University. Carl is known for their expertise in promoting the relationship between transport investment and economic development, providing valuable advice on strategic planning and land use issues.
