Eugene Ryoo is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience in saxophone instruction and performance. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Black Hawk College and a Saxophone Instructor at West Music Company, Eugene has also instructed for the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and the University of Iowa, where contributions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant were notable. Previous roles include Saxophone and Clarinet Instructor at Separk Music and Graduate Student Coach at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where Eugene managed the Jazz Ensemble and assisted in the Woodwind Area. Additionally, participation in the ArtistCorps ArtsEngage program facilitated arts education for school-aged children and seniors in the Winston-Salem community. Eugene holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Saxophone Performance from the University of Iowa, a Master of Music from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Music from The University of Texas at Austin.
