Lorraine Hewitt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development and advocacy. Currently serving as the Team Lead for the Community Response and Advocacy unit at West Neighbourhood House since May 2023, Lorraine oversees initiatives focused on community engagement and housing advocacy. Lorraine has also worked as a Freelance Sexuality Educator since October 2004 and previously held the position of Policy Advisor for Stakeholder Relations under City Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam from May 2016 to July 2020, where responsibilities included constituency case management and stakeholder relationship management. Lorraine's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University (2020-2023) and an Associate's degree in Social Work from George Brown College (2014-2016).
