Tony Paulson

Tony Paulson is the Head of Asia at West P&I, overseeing operations in the region since July 1990 and actively promoting the company through events and marketing initiatives. As a member of the management team since 2005, Tony contributes to strategy and corporate governance, with board responsibilities for sustainability initiatives. Additionally, Tony has held various roles within West P&I, including Claims Director and Team Leader for the Americas Syndicate. Outside of West P&I, Tony is involved with ITOPF as a Board Member, and previously served on the Insurance & Legal Committee of INTERTANKO and the Legal, Insurance and Documentary Committee of the UK Chamber of Shipping. Tony chaired a BIMCO sub-committee that developed standardized oil spill response contracts. Educational achievements include an Executive MBA from Imperial Business School and a BSc in Maritime Business from the University of Plymouth.
