Bill O'Leary (PhD MBA) is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Bill is currently serving as the Global Director of Operations and Manufacturing Digitalisation at West Pharmaceutical Services. Prior to this, Bill held the position of Senior Manager of Operational Excellence at PepsiCo. Bill also worked as a Senior Manager of Digital at Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies UK & Ireland.

From 2018 to 2020, Bill served as the General Manager of CONFIRM Centre for Smart Manufacturing, an Irish government-funded research center focused on advanced manufacturing. Before that, they worked as the Operations/OPEX Director for Europe and Africa at Minerals Technologies Inc., where they were responsible for regional operations management and led various initiatives in operational excellence and change management.

Bill has also worked as an Operations Manager at South Western Services (now Brookfield Renewables) and as the Owner and Founder of Specialised Metals Ltd. Bill O'Leary holds a PhD in Chemistry from University College Cork, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Bill also earned a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Physical Chemistry from the same institution, completing it from 1988 to 1992. In addition, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree, specializing in Economics, Finance, M&A, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, completing it from 2014 to 2016. Furthermore, they have received training in Project Management from the Institute of Project Management and has obtained a Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt certification from SQT Training Ltd.
