Derek Cross

Derek Cross is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on automation and manufacturing within the medical device sector. Currently serving as a Specialist (SME) Automation Engineer at West Pharmaceutical Services, Derek contributes to high-volume medical device manufacturing for Abbott Diabetes Care. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Integra LifeSciences, a leading medical technology company, and has a solid background at HP, where positions included Senior R&D Process Development Engineer and Manufacturing Process Engineer. Derek began their career as an Electronic Engineering Technician at Weber Sensors Ireland.
