Emily Oberlee has a diverse work experience in supply chain and operations management within the pharmaceutical and nutrition industries. Emily is currently the VP of Global Supply Chain at West Pharmaceutical Services. In their previous role as the Senior Director and Head of Global Supply Chain at Sanofi Genzyme, they led global teams to develop supply and contingency strategies for specialty care biologic medicines. Emily also held various leadership positions at Mead Johnson Nutrition, where they were responsible for supply chain management, strategic planning, organization change, and compliance with regulatory standards. Prior to that, they worked at Amway as an R&D Process Development Engineer, focusing on process optimization and scale-up of consumer products.
Emily Oberlee earned a Master of Science Degree in Biosystems Engineering from Michigan State University in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Engineering and an additional major (minor) in Food Science from the same university between 1991 and 1996. In terms of executive education, they attended various courses at Harvard University (with IWF), INSEAD Business School in France (with IWF), and the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, where they received a Certificate in Executive Management between 2015 and 2016. In 2003, they also completed an Online Certificate in Management Development with MJN from Cornell University.
