Jun Kang Ong

Jun Kang Ong is a Senior Process Engineer specializing in Technology Transfer at West Pharmaceutical Services since February 2022. Previously, Jun served as a Process Development Engineer at Lonza from September 2017 to February 2022, focusing on downstream processes and leading significant initiatives such as FMEA and leachable and extractables risk assessments for BLA submissions. Jun also facilitated the cross-functional transfer of manufacturing processes to Lonza's Singapore facility and supported cell culture stages of customer manufacturing processes. Earlier experience includes serving as Armory In-Charge in the Singapore Army and completing an internship at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, where Jun investigated surfactants' effects on foam concrete. Jun holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from the Singapore Institute of Technology and a diploma in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
