Meagan McManus

Meagan McManus is an experienced horticulturist currently serving as the Department Manager and Lead Horticulturist at West Seattle Nursery since March 2022, specializing in the procurement of high-quality fruit, vegetable, and native plant materials. Meagan also manages social media marketing for the nursery's online presence. In addition to this role, Meagan has been the Vice President and Publicity Chair of the Northwest Horticultural Society since November 2020, overseeing membership initiatives and social media communications. Previous positions include estate gardening, stage management at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show, and work as a Wetland Ecologist at The Watershed Company. Meagan's educational background includes degrees in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Western Washington University, along with a Certificate in Wetland Science and Management from the University of Washington and training in grant writing from Antioch University Seattle.
