The Bank's United States Government sponsored enterprises securities and mortgage-backed: residential securities consist of securities issued by the United States Government sponsored enterprises and agencies, including primarily Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) and Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae), each an enterprise that the government has affirmed its commitment to support.
