Matthew Hinman

Director, Communications at WEST TEXAS REHABILITATION CENTER

Matthew Hinman is the current Director of Communications at the WEST TEXAS REHABILITATION CENTER. Prior to that, they were the owner and producer of the Texas Podcasting Network, where they created and hosted three successful podcasts. Matthew has also worked as a Circulation Operations Manager and Regional Online Coordinator. Matthew is a Texas native and has always been interested in finding and sharing the stories of the most interesting people in the state.

Matthew Hinman holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Applied Science in Avionics & Instruments from the Spartan School of Aeronautics. Matthew is certified by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in OSHA 511, by FEMA in ICS 100/200/700, by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Remote Pilot-In-Command (sUAS, Part 107), and by OSHA Training Center in OSHA 7510. Matthew is also Google AdWords Certified and Town News Blox Template Certified. Additionally, they hold General Radiotelephone Operator and Amateur Radio Extra Class Certifications from the Federal Communications Commission. Finally, they are certified by the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) in First Aid/CPR/AED.

They are on a team with Angie Lane - Director, Hospice Services, Lindsey Mcmillan - Director, Pediatrics San Angelo, and Connie Stephens - Director, Audiology Abilene. Matthew Hinman reports to Steve Martin, President & CEO.
