Robert Withers is an experienced professional in vocational rehabilitation and career counseling. Current involvement as a volunteer at West Valley Community Services, since March 2021, focuses on providing essential support to low-income and homeless individuals and families. Prior experience includes serving as a career counselor at ProMatch from 1999 to 2019, contributing to a nationally recognized networking group for job seekers in Silicon Valley. West Valley Community Services Inc. (WVCS) is a private non-profit, community-based agency providing direct assistance and referral services to needy communities of Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, West San Jose and surrounding mountain regions, since 1973. WVCS provides a continuum of basic needs, family support services and housing services including: information and referrals, food pantry, clothing, homeless services, transitional housing, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support programs, and case management services. Our mission is to unite the community to fight hunger and homelessness. This work is inspired by the vision of a community where every person has food on the table and every person has a roof over their head.
