Mary Ann Maurer

Mary Ann Maurer serves as the Medical Director at the Family Medicine Center and the Associate Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Charleston Area Medical Center since October 2019. Concurrently, Mary Ann has been a member and researcher for the West Virginia Alliance for Health Care Solutions since October 2014 and holds the position of Associate Professor and Faculty Physician at West Virginia University, Charleston Division, since May 2013. Previous leadership roles include serving as Chair of the Board, President, and President Elect for the West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians from April 2017 to April 2020. Mary Ann's early experience includes working as a Family Medicine Physician at Cabin Creek Health Systems and Crozer-Keystone Health System and completing residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Education credentials include a Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Towson University.
