Nadia Naumova

Nadia Naumova serves as the Director of the Microbiology Laboratory and Vice Chair of the Department of Pathology at the Charleston Area Medical Center since May 2017, while also holding the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology at West Virginia University since January 2020. Naumova's previous experience includes positions as a Pathologist at Precision Pathology and JSO Associates in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, as well as a Fellow in Oncologic Surgical Pathology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Naumova has served on various committees, including the transfusion committee at Allegheny Valley Hospital and both the surgical case review and infection control committees at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Naumova completed a Pathology residency at Continuum Health Partners, where a role as Chief Resident was fulfilled, and also held a fellowship in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Naumova earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Medical University of Plovdiv from 1988 to 1994.
