Tim Nurkiewicz

Tim Nurkiewicz is a highly experienced academic and researcher, currently serving as the Director of the WVU HSC Center for Inhalation Toxicology since February 2019. In addition to this role, Tim is the E.J. Van Liere Medicine Professor and Chairman at West Virginia University, where Tim has been a faculty member since 2006, progressing through ranks from Assistant Professor to Professor. Tim's educational background includes a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Medical Physiology at Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Physiology from West Virginia University, complemented by a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences from Penn State University.
