Rudi Deysel

Rudi Deysel is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at West Wits Mining since February 2021, where previously held roles include Chief Operating Officer & Country Manager for RSA and Project Manager. Prior to this, Rudi held the position of Vice President of Business Planning at Galiano Gold Inc. from January 2019 to December 2020. Experience also includes significant roles at Eurasian Resources Group as Group Manager: MRM and Principal Mining Engineer, and at Murray & Roberts Cementation as Senior Project Engineer and Mining Engineer. Rudi began a career at Anglo American as a Mine Overseer, progressing through various positions at Amandelbult Platinum Mine. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand, along with degrees in Mining Engineering and Exploration Geophysics from the University of Pretoria, supplemented by certificates in Mine Management and Mine Overseer from the DMR.
