James Briggs

James Briggs is the Head of Commercial Development and Investment at West Yorkshire Combined Authority. James has a background in corporate finance, litigation support, and M&A advisory activities, with a specific focus on real estate, mid-cap SMEs, and clean energy sectors. James has also worked at Skipton Building Society, The Co-operative Bank plc, Investec Bank (UK) Limited, Sumitomo Bank Securities Inc, and Barings, where James held various leadership positions in finance, strategy, and portfolio management. James holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry from King's College London, London University.
