Dan Jones

Dan Jones serves as the Violence Prevention and Reduction Co-Ordinator and Operational Lead at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since August 2023. With extensive experience in security management and violence prevention, Dan has held roles including Senior Project Manager for NHS England and Local Security Management Specialist at both Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Dan also contributes to West Yorkshire Police as a Section Officer (Special Constable) since December 2017. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Violence Reduction from The University of South Wales and a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from Leeds City College. Additionally, Dan has provided training in Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) and CPR across various organizations.
