Michael Ribar

Michael Ribar is an experienced professional in program administration and policy, currently serving as a Principal Associate at Westat since January 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Technical Advisor at Insight Policy Research from November 2022 to December 2023 and served as Deputy Administrator and Strategic Planning Officer at the DC Department of Human Services from June 2019 to November 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at OneSpring and a Senior Technical Advisor at the USDA, where responsibilities included oversight of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Michael began their career as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Student Services at George Washington University after earning an M.A. in Education Policy Studies from the same institution. Michael also holds a BA in Theatre Education and New Media from Emerson College.
