Natasha Carmo

Natasha Carmo is currently serving as the Lead Research Associate at Westat since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst at Avar Consulting, Inc. from February 2023 to July 2024, and as a Geophysicist at CGG from November 2019 to June 2022. Natasha's earlier positions include an Engineering Intern at BK Telecomunicações, responsible for user interface design and sensor research, and an IT Intern at the Illinois Institute of Technology, focusing on renewable energy market research and social media management. Natasha was recognized for excellence in mathematics as an Undergraduate Researcher at CNPq, and also held a Junior Researcher position at Universidade Federal de Sergipe early in the academic career. Natasha holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Sergipe, alongside multiple Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from various institutions.
