Nathan Botts

Nathan Botts, PhD, is a Principal Clinical Research Associate at Westat with over 17 years of expertise in health informatics, clinical systems research, bioinformatics, health IT interoperability, and cybersecurity. Botts also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Purdue University Global, teaching cybersecurity, while co-chairing the Mobile Health Workgroup at Health Level Seven International and leading the CMHAFF project. As the Founder and CEO of Health e-Services, Inc., Botts has a strong background in developing health information systems, previously serving as Chief Technology Officer at HealthATM, Inc. and holding various research and technology positions at institutions such as Kay Center for E-Health Research and Claremont Graduate University, where Botts earned a PhD in Information Systems & Technology. Educational credentials also include a Graduate Certificate in Information Security from Purdue Global and an MA in Educational/Instructional Technology from San Diego State University.
