Nigel Cowan

Nigel Cowan has extensive experience in the fire protection industry. Nigel worked as a Fire Protection Engineer at Scott Company of California from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2003 to 2004. Between those two periods, they worked as a Fire Protection Engineer at Wormald AB in Sweden. Nigel then joined Scott Company of California as a Fire Protection Estimator/Project Manager from 2000 to 2001. In 2002, they became a Fire Protection Estimator/Project Manager at Scott Company of California. Nigel joined Cosco Fire Protection in 2003 as a Fire Protection Engineer before becoming the President/CEO of Westates Mechanical Corporation in 2013. Prior to their role as President/CEO, they served as Vice President at Westates Mechanical Corporation from 2007 to 2013.

Nigel Cowan attended Erindale Secondary from 1989 to 1994 and Seneca Polytechnic from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Fire Protection Engineering.
