Mandi Carroll has over 10 years of experience as the Director of Economic Development & Communications at Westbank First Nation. In this role, they have focused on strengthening the local and regional economy and establishing WFN as a community and investment leader. Prior to that, they worked as the Communications & Economic Development professional at Red Deer County, where they were responsible for communications, public relations, marketing, industry development, and attracting local and foreign investments. Mandi also has experience in bylaw, research, and technical writing at The City of Calgary, as well as business accounting at NOVA Chemicals.

Mandi Carroll obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. Mandi later pursued a Certificate in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2011.
