Shobitha Mani, WestBridge Capital’s General Counsel, is based out of Bangalore. She has 18 years of experience working as a lawyer in the investing and funds space. Shobitha supervises the legal function for the WestBridge funds, working closely with the investment and operations team and external legal counsel on fund matters and on investment transactions. Prior to joining WestBridge in 2012, Shobitha was a partner at the law firm of Wadia Ghandy & Co., where she was part of the firm’s private equity and funds practice. Prior to her tenure at Wadia Ghandy, Shobitha was an associate in the structured finance practice at the law firm of Amarchand & Mangaldas, Mumbai.
Shobitha received her B.A., LL.B. with honors from the National Law School, Bangalore.
