Katherine Forsythe

Katherine Forsythe, MBA, PEng, currently serves as the Divisional Industrial Sales Manager at Westburne, leading the outside technical sales of electrical and automation products and services, as well as the inside sales for the Industrial Projects organization across Alberta and British Columbia. Prior experience includes roles at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited as Director of Customer Support and Business Development, and Director of Commercial Strategy for New Platforms, where Katherine guided aftermarket strategy for new aircraft developments. At TC Energy, Katherine held the position of Category Manager for Materials & Equipment, overseeing a $2 billion annual spend and managing a team of 17 employees. Prior to that, Katherine worked at Suncor Energy in various positions, including Category Manager for Engineered Equipment and Continuous Improvement Manager, leading significant cost-saving initiatives. Earlier career experiences included engineering and process optimization roles at Shell and The Dow Chemical Company. Katherine holds an MBA and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
