Stephan Spilkowitz has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked at Evolution Fashions as a Business Associate and Trade Show Assistant until 2011. From 2013 to 2015, they were involved with The DAR Project, serving as Chairman of the Board and later as a Senior Advisor to the President & Board Member. In 2017 and 2019, Spilkowitz held positions in Lower Hudson Valley Progressive Action Network and City of Yonkers respectively. Stephan served as an Executive Committee Member and Education & Diversity Committee Co-Chairman in the former, and as an Advisory Board Member for the City Council President's Advisory Board for Children with Special Needs in the latter. From 2018 to 2022, they were a County Committee Member and District Leader for the Westchester County Democratic Committee. In 2020, Spilkowitz founded and led FightCOVIDFromHome.com / Shield Our First Responders. Between 2011 and 2023, they worked at ANDRUS, taking on various roles such as Senior Manager, Assistant Director, Therapeutic Programming & Youth Development, Manager of Special Programs and Initiatives, Recreation Specialist & NYPUM Program Coordinator, and Milieu Therapist & Ropes Challenge Course Program Coordinator. Since 2022, they have been a Member of the Board of Directors for Groundwork Hudson Valley. Currently, Spilkowitz is the Director of Engagement and Culture at Westchester Jewish Community Services, a position they have held since 2023.

Stephan Spilkowitz completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Psychology & Change Leadership from Columbia University, where they attended from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Cornell University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their degrees, Stephan has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they became Hogan Certified through Hogan Assessment Systems. In 2021, they received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Stephan also became an Intercultural Development Inventory Qualified Administrator through IDI, LLC in 2020. Stephan holds the certification of Certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families Associate Trainer (TCIF) from Cornell University, which they obtained in 2016.

Furthermore, they are a Certified ECAD Therapy Dog Handler, certified by ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities in 2016. Stephan is also a Certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Associate Trainer from Cornell University, achieved in 2011. Stephan holds the Certified NYPUM Instructor (CNI) certification from the NATIONAL YOUTH PROJECT USING MINIBIKES, obtained in 2012.

Moreover, they received an ACCT Level 2 Challenge Course Practitioner Certification from High 5 Adventure Learning Center in 2019. In 2014, Stephan obtained the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, which includes certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
