Peter Riffel

Peter Riffel currently serves as the Director of Small Business and Workforce Development at the Westchester Library System since 2023. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Director, Human Resources Business Partner at Columbia's Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain and Behavior Institute from 2021 to 2022. Peter’s extensive background in human resources includes leadership as the Lead Human Resources Business Partner at ASML from 2013 to 2021 and as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at IBM from 1991 to 2013. Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Master of Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University.
