Asiya Habibullah

Asiya Habibullah, MLS(ASCP)CM, has a diverse work experience in the field of medical laboratory science. Asiya began their career in 2015 as a Flow Cytometry Technologist at siParadigm Diagnostic Informatics, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined University Hospital as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a brief period of time. In 2019, Asiya joined Bristol Myers Squibb as a Flow Cytometry Scientist II, a role they held until 2023. During this time, they also started working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. At present, Asiya holds the position of Lead Clinical Technologist, Special Hematology, at Westchester Medical Center, a member of WMCHealth.

Asiya Habibullah completed a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Rutgers University - School of Health Related Professions in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Albert Dorman Honors College at NJIT and New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist from New York State in 2023, Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in 2014, Navios Operation Certificate from Beckman Coulter in 2018, and 34th Annual Course of the International Clinical Cytometry Society from the International Clinical Cytometry Society in 2019.
