Donna Nikaj, RN, BSN, CCM has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in healthcare. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Milieu Manager at Four Winds Hospital for nearly 10 years. In 2011, they transitioned to Albany Medical Center as a Trauma Unit RN. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Onsite Nurse Liaison at Advanced Care Inc. In 2013, they joined Westchester Medical Center, initially working as an RN Care Management Coordinator in Pediatrics and later becoming the Nursing Supervisor for Case Management & Utilization Review. Donna then took on roles of increasing responsibility at WMCHealth Network, including serving as the Sr. Director of Clinical Care Management & Utilization Management. In 2016, they became a Founding Partner at Phillips Creek Group, LLC. In 2017, they worked as a Self-Employed UR Nurse Consultant. Finally, in 2021, they were appointed as the Vice President of Clinical Care Management at Westchester Medical Center. Overall, Donna's career has demonstrated their diverse skills and commitment to delivering quality patient care.
Donna Nikaj, RN, BSN, CCM holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Pace University-Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus. Donna furthered their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Concordia College-New York in 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Masters in Nursing (MSN) from Saint Joseph's College, expected to be completed in 2022. Donna also holds certifications as a MCG Guidelines Specialist from MCG Health, obtained in 2019, and as a CCM.
