Irene Torres

Irene Torres has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Irene has held various positions throughout their career. Irene started their own business as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2015. Prior to this, they worked at Westchester Medical Center and Mid-Hudson Regional as the Vice President of Clinical Care Management, starting in 2012. In the same year, they also served as the Regional Vice President at Westchester Medical Center. Irene's responsibilities involved overseeing clinical operations, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with standards of practice.

In 2018, Irene worked as a Consultant at Rain Inc. Irene also had a brief consulting role at Brightpoint Health in 2015. Before that, Irene gained extensive experience at the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, where they served as the Sr. Associate Executive Director from 2004 to 2012. Irene'sresponsibilities included managing clinical operations in care management, social work, patient advocacy, and the Department of Psychiatry. Irene also played a key role in policy development, program improvement, and financial outcomes.

Irene Torres obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Herbert H. Lehman College in 1972. Irene then pursued a Master's degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Fordham University from 1980 to 1982.
