James Terwilliger

James Terwilliger serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Ambulatory Officer at Westchester Medical Center Health Network since August 2025, leading the ambulatory network and provider practices. Previously, James held a Senior Advisor role at McKinsey & Company and served as Market President for the Puget Sound Region at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, overseeing significant hospital and clinical operations. Other notable positions include President of St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and various leadership roles within UPMC and Indiana University Health. James Terwilliger holds a Master's degree in Public Health from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Boston University, among other educational pursuits.
